Alternative Designs Inc. offers product design and prototyping services. If you have an idea for a new product, we can assist you in conceptual design, develop detailed design, and then create prototypes for testing in the real world. Upon completion of prototype development we can provide project management services to assist you in bringing your product to volume production. We have a network of manufacturing services suppliers who are able to produce products from a wide range of technologies.
If you require a single part produced for a custom application or repair we can do that too. We can reverse engineer an existing part to create a new one, or start by designing a new and improved component.
Starting with paper sketches we’ll work with you to capture the design intent of your product.
We’ll then begin the process of creating of part models and assemblies in Solidworks. We can then use these assemblies to test and refine the function of the product.
Engineering drawings will then be created to define manufacturing specifications.
Components will then be produced and fitted into assemblies to allow real world testing of the product.
